An Exemplary Estate Agent

It is not often one can find an Estate Agent that does their job well and gets the best available for the vendor (seller). It is well understood that Estate Agents are interested in selling property for the purpose of making a profit and this is quite acceptable.

What is often in question however, are the methods used with some agents sometimes walking the fine line to stay within the Real Estate Agent Professional Conduct regulations. Even crossing that line on occasions and providing poor and inefficient customer service, The Estate Agents (Professional Conduct) Regulations 2008 set out the standard of conduct expected of agents and agents’ representatives in their day-to-day dealings with clients (sellers and landlords) and consumers (buyers and tenants) to which all agents are expected to comply with and are in addition to the obligations set out under legislation such as the Estate Agents Act 1980, Sale of Land Act 1962, Residential Tenancies Act 1997, Retail Leases Act 2003 and the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012.

I am pleased to state however that Century 21 Wilson Pride (Noble Park) followed the regulations in an exemplary fashion and fell well within the criteria expected of a Real Estate Agency. Out of a number of agencies we selected Century 21 to sell our property in Noble Park and was pleased with the professionalism, efficiency and customer service provided with a satisfactory result after only a short time.

We signed up with the Estate Agent at the beginning of February this year and by March the 12th just five weeks later, our property had been sold by auction and at above the reserve price.

At all times the two agents, Kris and Travis were friendly, helpful and provided excellent customer service giving us an outline of the plan including what needs to be done to the property to make it presentable for photographs, how many inspection days there would be and when as well as information on advertising and promotion. This extended to even after the sale went through

Selling a house or a home is a big step for most people and it can be difficult to know who to select when looking for an agency to sell your property. Fortunately we can say that Kris and Travis of Century 21 in Noble Park, Victoria fit the bill and one can use them in confidence of receiving a positive and satisfactory outcome.
